YOUNG ADULT CLASS: This class meets in Rm F109 and is taught by Pastor Randy and Janelle Young. This is more than a class, this is a small group for young adults who are post high school to age 25. This group has many activities and also has a meeting on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.

ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: This group is taught by Gregg Jacobson, will meet in RM F106, and will be a Practical Guide to Understanding and Applying the Bible. We all know that we should read our Bibles—yet at times we struggle with knowing exactly how, no matter how long we’ve followed Jesus. We will explore ways to find joy in reading and understanding the Word of God.

EXPERIENCING GOD’S PRESENCE: This class is taught by Aimee Orem and will meet in RM F114. Are you hungry for a deeper relationship with your Heavenly Father? In this book study we will discover the joy of an ongoing dialogue with God as we seek Him and allow Him to guide us through the challenges of everyday life. We will gain practical and biblical tools to enrich our prayer lives as we draw closer to our Father’s heart. We will be using the book “Experiencing God’s Presence: Learning to Listen While You Pray” by Linda Evans Shepherd.

Life 201: This class is led by John and Deanna Kitchen and will be in RM F115. This a discussion class that deals with topics relevant to our everyday Christian walk from finances to current events, relationships, and everything in between. Classes consist of presentation of materials followed by open discussion. If you are looking for a Sunday School class with a small group feel, we’d love to have you join us.

OBSTACLES… STUMBLING BLOCKS: This class is taught by Rick Cotti and will meet in Room F117. We all have obstacles and stumbling blocks, and we all know others that struggle. Come join us as we discuss some of the obstacles that keep us from becoming all that God desires us to be. We’ll be discussing topics such as anxiety/fear, depression, and our joy substitutes that are referred to as addictions. No book required.

“HELLO, MY NAME IS __________ AND I’M A PARENT”: This parenting class is taught by Kari Heckler and will meet in the ROCKIDZ Room F107. This Sunday morning group will be aimed at parents of pre-teens though early twenties. The group will be focusing on topics that will inform, encourage, and inspire parenting from a Christian perspective. Families today face an overwhelming amount of new challenges on parenting. In this group you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experience of others. Together, we will journey with others who share the joys and challenges of parenting.

This class is taught by Chris Heckler in Room F113. We are bombarded daily with competing messages. Every song, movie, book, YouTube clip, and game is full of ideas — ideas about God, people, truth, beauty, and right and wrong. Not all of these ideas are true. Many are deceptive and destructive. The focus of this group is to grow together in knowledge of the Truth and strengthen our commitment to Jesus Christ.

This class is taught by Lee and Cindy Peterson in the basement Room 109. The Bible was completed about two thousand years ago. Since then, countless other books have come and gone. Why is it so popular? Why have people risked their lives for it? If the Bible is truly God’s Word, then we should cherish it, study it, obey it, and fully trust it. If you are in 6th-8th grade, let’s get together on Sunday mornings and learn about Gods Word.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY: This group meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 PM in Room F114 and it studying the “Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer. There will be books if you want to purchase one. This study will start Sept 12th. “All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. This is more than merely a Biblical description of the believer’s inventory, it’s an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.”

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: All men, you are invited to come and join us in the Wednesday night study at 6:30 PM in Room F117. In this class you will find an environment of support, encouragement, and accountability with the distinct purpose of helping one another grow spiritually. Come along with us as we endeavor to build one another up and become all that Christ has called us to be.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY: All ladies are invited to join us at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights in Room F114 for a time of fellowship and Bible study. This Fall we are studying “Gideon” by Priscilla Shirer. This group meets in Room F114.
