Welcome to Rock Church!  Next Sunday we are going to be celebrating our graduates. Some are completing high school and the rest college with associates or bachelor’s degrees. All of them are to be congratulated on their accomplishment. If you have not gotten the material to the office for your graduate, please make sure you do it today.

Rock Church is part of a larger group of independent churches known as the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. One of the unique features of our churches is local church ordination. While each local church is responsible for those who are ordained, many times pastors and leaders from other congregations participate in these wonderful events of recognizing God’s calling to ministry. This morning I am in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, participating in the ordination of Ryan and Brianna Morrison. They are the couple we had hoped would be on our staff, but instead they were strongly directed to Reno, Nevada, where they will be moving this week. I felt it was appropriate and important for me to go and bless them on behalf of our church and fellowship.
